In The Community

The mission of the Oakland Tennis Center is not to have a tennis center, but to build a tennis program. We want everyone to learn, participate, and enjoy the lifelong sport of tennis!

Newberry College Wolves Tennis

The Oakland Tennis Center is home to the Newberry College Men's and Women's Tennis Teams. The Wolves welcome the community to be a part of Wolves Tennis!  The community is welcome to drop by for a practice and get to know the team AND come out to matches and cheer the Wolves on!

YOUTH AGES 5 and Above

Net Generation Tennis Programs

Oakland Tennis Center is growing their youth tennis program by joining the USTA Program - Net Generation. Net Generation is a celebration of a game where no one sits on the sidelines. Tennis is easy to learn and tailored for all ages and abilities, giving kids a game that will help them build friendships and learn skills they’ll use for life.

Summer Camps

Tennis camps are a fantastic way for youth to stay active and learn new skills during the summer months. Typically, participants are grouped by age and skill level and can choose how often they prefer to attend.

Youth & Adult Lessons

Private lessons and Semi-Private lessons will be available for youth & adults.  Lessons can be one-on-one or in a group setting. You can also get your own group together for a group lesson.

Tournaments & Events

Round robins, seasonal special events and a variety of local and USTA sanctioned tournaments occur throughout the year.
