The Oakland Tennis Center is managed by the City of Newberry Parks, Recreation & Tourism Department and is home to City of Newberry Tennis Programs and Newberry College Wolves Tennis.

 

The facility features 9 Musco LED lighted courts (6 asphalt hard courts and 3 hybrid ClayTech tennis courts) as well as restrooms and a pro shop. The facility is located in the historic Oakland neighborhood. Envisioned in 2012, the Groundbreaking for the Oakland Tennis Center took place on March 6, 2017 and the facility was open to the public in October 2017.

USTA Affiliation

The Oakland Tennis Center is a member organization of the United States Tennis Association (USTA) and works closely with the USTA in offering sanctioned tournaments, leagues, and other USTA sponsored programs.
